Born and raised in the Algoma district of Northern Ontario, the son of a fishing/ski lodge owner, Tommy grew up in tourism. He is a past member of a volunteer fire department, and former active Reform Party of Canada member. Tommy worked for six years as a financial services manager in the auto industry and has owned two businesses. Currently Tommy works as a technician in an MDF mill and is a member of their fire brigade. He brings to the table economic and political experience and a passion for Northern Ontario.
