About the Party Bylaws
The Party Bylaws serve as the governing framework of the Northern Ontario Party,
establishing the rules, procedures, and standards that guide the operation of
the Party.
These bylaws ensure transparency, accountability, fairness, and consistency
in all Party activities while supporting democratic participation among members.
Purpose of the Bylaws
- Promote democratic governance within the Party.
- Ensure accountability of Party officers and representatives.
- Establish clear membership rights and responsibilities.
- Provide procedures for meetings, elections, and decision-making.
- Maintain financial transparency and integrity.
- Support the Party’s mission and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electoral laws.
Membership Rights
Party members are entitled to:
- Attend eligible Party meetings.
- Vote on Party matters as permitted.
- Seek Party office positions.
- Participate in policy development.
- Receive information regarding Party governance.

Amendments to the Bylaws
