Good day to all of you.  It’s a great pleasure to be interim Leader. I will continue to move forward and keep the NOP on the map. I, personally don’t look for glory. I look at Team work getting the glory.  In the next few days, till the General Meeting (GM), there’s some changes that will be done.  I also hope that more members will be at the GM. Northern Ontario is home, so let’s stand up for ourselves.  There’s little time left.  Trevor Holliday and his team set the bar. Now, we need to succeed to get to the next Election.  We can get to Queens Park as a team. I hope some of you will join the difficult journey ahead and be part of the history for Northern Ontario.

For those who don’t know me, I ran in Timiskaming-Cochrane.  I’m also a husband, father and truck driver.  Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, I moved at the age of 7 in Dymond Township, now Temiskaming Shores. I’m a Francophone and Métis. My heart is for Northern Ontario.  It’s my Home.

Thank you Trevor Holliday for your trust. You resurrected the Party with your dedication and passion for the North. It’s not an easy job. During my first time in the NOP/NOHP, I enjoyed being part of the 10 candidates in the last election.  That is recorded history for the North.  Great job.

Sincerely,

Shawn Poirier

Beau travail.

Sincèrement,

Shawn Poirier
